So Long, Farewell…

For anyone who missed this over on my blog, here’s the update I posted January 9, after edits came back. Things have gone well since then. But since people have asked…

a) traffic hit in Toronto

b) my brother and I were awake enough to “ARE WE THERE, YET?” the whole way

The point is, ADVENTURE.

Well, my friends, I’m on a different kind of adventure this morning.

Edits are back, after a few delays in getting started and finished. I’m not going to lie to you. It’s not pretty. There’s more work to do than I’d anticipated based on early reader responses, thanks to some amazing ideas from my editor on…

TORN Update

Hello! I’ve been posting periodic (if tiny) updates on Torn’s progress over at Disregard the Prologue, and now it’s time for a post here.

Torn is in the capable hands of my editor, Joshua Essoe, and I’ll get back to work as soon as he’s finished with it.

In addition, Ravven has begun work on the cover.

I’m excited about both of these developments, and am feeling optimistic about having pre-orders ready for February, and a release date in March.

Thanks for your patience!

Bound Audiobook Release

The audiobook version of Bound, produced by Tantor Media and read by Paul Boahmer and Justine Eyre, is now available!

Narrator bios:

Paul Boehmer graduated with a master’s degree and was cast as Hamlet by the very stage actor who inspired his career path. He has worked on Broadway and extensively in regional theater, and has been cast in various roles in many episodes of Star Trek. Paul’s love of literature and learning led him by nature to his work as a narrator for audiobooks, his latest endeavour.

Justine Eyre is a classically trained actress who has narrated over two hundred audiobooks. With a prestigious Audie Award and four AudioFile Earphones Awards under her belt, Justine is multilingual and is known for her great facility with accents. Her recent television credits include Two and a Half Men and Mad Men.

Introductory Sale Ends August 27

It’s been a fantastic few months, but it’s almost time for the Bound e-book introductory sale to come to a close. Fear not–at $4.99, regular price is still a fantastic deal!  But if you’re looking to save a few dollars and have been putting off picking up Bound, now would be a good time to do it.

Don’t say we didn’t warn you…

Thanks again to everyone who made the launch and the weeks since such a success. Hearing feedback on the book, seeing people sharing with their friends and bookclubs, and knowing that word is spreading has been far more rewarding than I ever expected. You’re an amazing group of readers, and I’m thankful for every one of you.

It’s my way of saying thank you to everyone who has been supporting this project for so long, a special bonus for everyone who can still say, “It’s pretty obscure. You’ve probably never heard of it,” and who will forever have the right to say, “I loved it before it was popular.”

If you have a friend who you think would love this book, now’s the time to recommend it.

Regular price will be $4.99. Still a great deal for a big, fat story packed with adventure, romance, magic, humour, and amazing experiences, right? But if you want to save a few bucks, now’s the time to grab it.

And thank you.

Thank you.
